The awesome new CD, GET YOU A HEALIN', is a compilation of New Orleans bands and interesting collaborations to benefit the New Orleans Musician's Clinic. This is a great service for musicians without health insurance (yours truly in that number). Some of the bands are : Smilin' Myron, Tiny Town, the funky Meters. There are also once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, including half of PHISH and half of The Meters jamming and calling themselves the GYPTIANS; Dr. John and Art Neville; Coco Robichaux and Maria Muldaur backed up by Tiny Town (with Rockin' Jake on harp) performing Coco's "Louisiana Medicine Man". And much more good stuff. Get some great music and support a good cause.
